This is a beautifully depressing image ^^
I love the way this was taken, it's very close and the live snail seems to be looking down at the corpse. I can't say that I have ever seen anything like this, and is quite the rare shot!
I love how the main focus of the image (the snails) is exagurated by the blur around the edges, but I feel the blur towards the bottom is too abrubt.
Furthermore, the way the image is made to be black and white seems to further exagurate the sadness of the scene. I feel this is also brought out by the way the other shell is cracked and broken, and just overall makes the death appear to be a brutal one.
I love the extreme detail as well, your camera is wonderful! It picked up ever line and indention in the snails shells and avery piece of gravel.
