February Snowflake

The beauty of this piece is absolutely amazing. I mean, truly stunning. The simplicity of the background pulls you in to focus on the actual snowflake itself, and the complex makeup of it. The macro shot is VERY well executed. It must have been taken quickly and the fact that it was shot one-handed (or at least, it appears so) just astonishes me. The tinier snowflake on the right is my favorite, although the balance between the sizing and placement of the two is great. I rated lower on the Originality scale due to the fact that I've seen several "snowflake" pieces this winter, although this one is by far one of the best. Overall, this is a wonderful piece and should be a DD. I'm so glad I found this piece! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
